Scheduling Coordinator
What you'll do as a Scheduling Coordinator:



+ Responsible for filling vacant long and short-term schedules based on the Company demand for 24/7 a week calendar


+ Coordinates all changes to same day and future staffing based on staffing levels and demands predicted by the Company. Keep scheduling software updated for employee schedules including working, non-working hours, sick time, leave time and paid time off (PTO)


+ Replace employees as needed for same and next day and notify employees


+ Review and approve or deny PTO requests and replace openings with qualified employees


+ Process schedule changes


+ Coordinate and schedule student ride-alongs


+ Completes reporting as needed


+ Understand scheduling functions in relationship to payroll such as earning codes, PTO and Sick Time, and other Payroll Options


+ Perform other duties as assigned



Mental & Physical Requirements



+ Must be available to work Monday-Friday during normal business hours which includes, but not limited to, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed


+ Ability to sit for an extended period and wear a telephone headset


+ Requires frequent repetitive hand movements and prolonged sitting, standing, walking, reaching and grasping


+ Must be able to hear and communicate clearly to perform job duties in person and over the phone


+ Adequate vision required to be able to read information from printed sources and computer screens


+ Occasional pushing, pulling or moving/lifting up to 50 pounds of heavy supplies and equipment


+ Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously


+ Collect, interpret, and/or analyze complex data and information


+ Understand and respond to a diverse population


+ Utilize fine motor coordination, clear speech, and good visual acuity
