Overview of the Role


Citi's Global Consumer Technology (GCT) organization serves the GCB global suite of products providing a full range of innovative and comprehensive set of services. Our businesses also offer industry-leading advanced technology, a strong worldwide presence and a powerful global franchise.


Reporting to the GCT Head Transformation, the GCT Head of Business Management is a senior executive role responsible for driving disruptive thought leadership and new approaches to accelerate our transformation priorities.


Priorities include:


+ Ensure laser focus on enabling GCT transformation

+ Minimize disruption to BAU activities that are working well today

+ Drive key initiatives and change management: Facilitate stakeholder and change management to coordinate effective implementation of GCT initiatives. Hold accountability for program delivery objectives and timeline.

+ Strategic planning in collaboration with organizations: Drive GCT strategic agenda across functions to create and execute roadmap for internal initiatives.

+ Standardization and continuous improvement; more structured processes to build common standards and identify and share best practices across regions. Closer partnering with Human Resources and other shared O&T functions to continue to drive optimization.

+ Responsible for monitoring progress and managing issues and risks around delivering against BAU GCT goals.

+ Ensure GCT is run smoothly as a business on a day to day basis:

+ Facilitate reporting and change management efforts across GCT

+ Help define, solidify and govern GCT's overall operating model

+ Facilitate clear decision rights and consistent interactions both within GCT and with business partners

+ Define principles for the GCT shared services model; leverage existing mechanisms and enhance overall productivity of delivery centers globally

+ Manage global governance processes and standards (e.g., PMO, global release and capacity management

+ Own global rolled up view of GCT release calendar

+ Coordinate with regional teams to ensure consistent implementation of best practices and hygiene

+ Attracting and developing talent to meet our client's needs and ensure forward compatible success

+ Promote and grow a highly innovative and industry leading technology culture.

+ Ensure Citi's technology is continually improved and of the highest quality on a global scale. Organizational Scope and Accountability

+ Incumbent will provide vision, leadership and direction for Strategy initiatives within GCT; and drive organizational effectiveness, re-engineering, and superior products / services within an environment of continuous learning & growth.

+ Oversee overall planning and execution against new GCT priorities and operating model changes

+ Own project management of transformation initiative (e.g., E&E, Operating Model design & implementation, etc.)

+ Provide senior-GCT/GCB leadership engagement support for GCT CIO and Exec leadership team

+ Execute GCT-level Program governance processes (e.g., program portfolio reporting and dashboards; ensure alignment against GCT / GCB strategic priorities)

+ Define and drive GCT PMO playbook (standards, tools, templates, etc.)

+ Create forum to consistently monitor and proactively adjust strategic initiatives utilizing benchmarking, trend data, and external analysis.

+ Lead a team of employees and contractors located globally.

+ Establish and maintain a high performing, open culture based on integrity and strong partnership and financial responsibility.

+ Maintain strong relationships with senior business partners, control organizations, other technology functions and external regulators and vendors

+ Champion an inclusive and diverse global mindset, find, develop and advocate a deep and diverse talent pool within the organization and offer effective coaching and development


**Qualifications**


Qualifications


The ideal candidate will come from an international organization, and be a global visionary leader in engineering/technology who will drive priorities while balancing risks, capital allocations, and change complexities throughout the enterprise.


+ 10+ years of demonstrated Chief of Staff/Leadership/Transformation roles in the financial industry or a related field with a strong understanding/focus on digital technologies

+ Bachelor degree; Master's degree preferred.

+ Successful track record as a change leader in a large and complex environment.

+ Possess a track record of transforming a global business through strong execution and delivery.

+ Strong talent focus and ability to successfully recruit and develop experts from leading organizations across the globe.

+ Ability to communicate a compelling vision and inspire others to deliver on an ambitious, complex, global roadmap.

+ Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels within an organization, from the most technical engineer to the most savvy business / executive leader.

+ Possess uncompromising ethics, unwavering integrity and understanding of risk & regulatory process, as well as outstanding communications and interpersonal skills.

+ Familiarity with the major line of business activities within a large global financial institution. Broad financial expertise with knowledge of corporate affairs, financial and economic fundamentals, and business policies, products, processes, systems and roles.Requirements:

+ Possess first hand insights into the way that digital transformation is affecting industry and knowledge of best practices

+ Demonstrate an ability to identify and act upon unique insights and apply them to solve unmet needs and an expertise leveraging/synthesizing competitor, emerging technology, and other marketplace trends to draw out implications to support the team's overall mission and goals
